ETC Fixed Mount Data Collection Terminal

Open box, plug in, turn on, you're connected. It really is that easy! The LINX ETC was designed from the ground up a a low priced, Ethernet Thin Client for applications such as access control, labor tracking, shop floor data collection, time and attendance, and work-in-process.

The LINX ETC is a highly quality, easy-to-use data collector. It has an internal bar code reading chip capable of decoding all standard barcodes, a laser port, an "accept/reject" indicator, a 2X16 backlit LCD display, an internal beeper, and an internal relay for access control applications.

Because of its direct connectivity to Ethernet, the LINX ETC will eliminate network-oriented wiring problems and performance limitations relating to the number of terminals that can be connected on the older RS-232/422/485 networks. Communications for the ETC are accomplished through standard TCP/IP.

Just plug your data-scanning device into the laser/wand port and you are ready to work. Add as many LINX etc terminals as you need - the LINX ETC server software will automatically recognize them and start acquiring data.

To make this product even better, the server software uses an ActiveX control and is easily configurable. With any Windows language that supports ActiveX, a developer can create custom ETC applications quickly and easily.

Now you can get Ethernet-direct connectivity, the task requisite features and capabilities, and high reliability at a low price.
