Innovative Mobile Printing for Rugged Environments

The PrintPAD from Symbol Technologies provides portable printing in the most rugged environments. Portable printing enables the production of hard copy back-ups of digital information and signature printing, as well as the generation of receipts, tickets and labels for your mobile computing applications.

This innovative one-piece printer and computer combination system consists of a 4.41 in./112 mm wide thermal printer in a rugged case and an embedded communication charging cradle designed for a variety of Symbol handheld computers. In addition, when the mobile computing device is equipped with a Spectrum24^® wireless LAN card, the system has wireless network connectivity.

The PrintPAD has the features you need for mobile print applications:

• Powered by four high-capacity, lithium-ion batteries 
• Prints 748, 6 in./150 mm receipts on a single charge 
• Optional AC or cigarette adapter for simultaneous batteries recharging in both printer and mobile computer

Designed for Ease of Use and Comfort

The ergonomically designed PrintPAD with integrated carry strap and optional shoulder strap provides comfort as well as the ability to roam freely. Easy to use, the PrintPAD simply "wakes up" automatically when data is received—there are no buttons or switches required for operation. After printing, the PrintPAD returns to "sleep" mode to conserve battery life without any intervention required by the user.
