Time and attendance software
Time and attendance software is an electronic version of a paper time sheet. It collects employee time data such as start time, end time, work tasks and logs the information into a database. The collected data can be used in a variety of ways, usually it is sent to a payroll system to calculate wages earned or is used to generate custom reports for managers to review.
