The iX104C² is a rugged Tablet PC that was built to military specifications and designed to operate in harsh environments. The ergonomic iX104C² features a rugged magnesium chassis and a patented industrial removable bumper protection system. It has an IP67 Rating and can handle the daily exposures of extreme operating temperatures, drops and shocks and vibration associated with fork lifts, trucks and police cruisers, to name a few. The iX104C² is a PC in a mobile flexible form factor that can be used in the office or out in the field. It is ideally suited for users in a variety of industries and applications such as: Pubic Safety, EMS, Fire Safety, Utility, Field Service, Field Sales, Health Care, Warehousing, Transportation, Government / Military, and Manufacturing.
The The iX104C² has an Intel® Centrino™ 1.1GHz processor, a 40GB hard disk drive and a large 10.4" XGA TFT enhanced display. It has multiple integrated wireless options including Wireless LAN (Pro Wireless 802.11b/g on board), Wireless WAN (GPRS and CDMA), Bluetooth and external GPS.
The iX104C² also features programmable hot keys and an on-board backlit keypad. Three optional flexible docking solutions are available – choose the X-Dock for mobile computing needs, the X-Stand docking solution for use in an office or configuration center environment or the Industrial Desk Mount with Port Replicator which provides a cradle for the tablet in a non-office environment.
