The SCANTEAM 5700 Hand Held Laser Scanner is Hand Held Products' high performance laser. It combines our best laser scanning performance with Hand Held Products' traditionally excellent decoding, interfacing, and product durability reputation.

The 5700 is available with a full suite of decoded output interfaces or non decoded output for connection to an external decoder or portable terminal. Hand Held Products laser scanners are comfortable to use, rugged, durable, and easy to program. They offer a wide selection of cables, upgradable Flash memory, and Quick*Load, a Windows®-based programming tool, to maximize flexibility.

The 5700 is a high performance scanner suitable for any general purpose application. It offers the widest range of resolution and reading distance of any Hand Held Products scanner.

The 5700 finds application in retail point of sale, factory and office automation, inventory, asset tracking, and transportation uses. It also offers Dual Interface - with a simple cable change, the scanner automatically switches interfaces (such as from retail POS to portable data collection), increasing functionality and cost effectiveness.
