The SCANTEAM® 5700/HD High Density Laser Scanner is a high performance special purpose laser scanner. It reads high density bar codes down to 3 mil. size, and is combined with Hand Held Products' traditionally excellent decoding, interfacing, and product durability reputation.

The 5700/HD is available with a full suite of decoded output interfaces, or non decoded output for connection to an external decoder or portable terminal Hand Held Products laser scanners are comfortable to use, rugged, durable, and easy to program. They offer a wide selection of cables, upgradable Flash memory, and Quick*Load, a Windows®-based programming tool, to maximize flexibility.

The 5700/HD is a high performance scanner suitable for special purpose applications where labels and bar code print sizes are small, such as jewelry tags in retail stores, or industrial electronic manufacturing.

The 5700/HD can also be used for close range general purpose applications. It also offers Dual Interface - with a simple cable change, the scanner automatically switches interfaces (such as from retail POS to portable data collection), increasing functionality and cost effectiveness.
