The Hand Held Products SCANTEAM® 3741 Series wide angle fixed mount CCD bar code scanner offers flexible hardware and software for easy integration. The ST3741 is designed specifically to meet 102mm reading width requirements of the clinical chemistry industry. CCD technology provides greater value, fewer regulatory concerns and longer mean time between failures than other scanning technologies.

The ST3741 Series has been designed for integration into equipment that requires bar code reading capability. The ST3741 can operate as a standalone sensor providing bar code information as serial data. Applications include integration into mechanisms that automatically track items with bar codes such as clinical chemistry analyzers, point of sale scanning, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), and light duty conveyor scanning.
