Packed with Features
The SE 900 delivers the ultimate in scanning performance through a number of features. "Adaptive Logic" technology ensures maximum performance on damaged or poorly printed bar codes. The retro-collective optical design enables scanning distances even in full sunlight. The decoded version, the SE 923 provides flexibility through many programmable parameters, which can be configured via the serial interface, or through scanning bar code menus. In addition, the SE 923 supports UPC/EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Trioptic Code 39, Code 93, Interleaved 2 of 5, Discrete 2 of 5, Codabar and MSI Plessey symbologies. Use of the standard Simple Serial Interface (SSI) communication protocol ensures compatibility with other decoded scan engines from Symbol.
Optimum Ergonomic Design—plus Durability
Measuring just 0.2 cubic inches (3.3 cube cm), the small volume of the SE 900 enables optimum ergonomic design of OEM devices such as handheld computers, medical instruments, diagnostic equipment, lottery terminals, vending machines, robotics, and more. And the SE 900 operates down to 3.3 volts, requiring less battery capacity in device design. Add a die-cast aluminum chassis for immunity to over 2,000 Gs with minimum weight, a wide temperature range, immunity to ambient light and durable design for a scan engine that will perform in the most demanding environments.
