Computer, the new Intermec PB20 Direct Thermal Portable
Printer, with Bluetooth®, offers the convenience of a
personal area network (PAN) to the frontline worker for
printing receipts and bar code labels. The combination of
the PB20 portable printer and companion 700 Series Mobile
Computer is a no hassle solution to improve wireless
printing operations for various route accounting, field
service, logistics, home delivery and pre-sales
systems.
Convenience of Bluetooth
With the Bluetooth equipped PB20, mobile
workers will no longer need to go back to a truck to
begin to print a ticket or wait for a ticket to print
while selecting products to deliver. They can begin
printing from 30 feet (10m) away.
The PB20 can be worn at the waist, carried
or left behind in the truck for maximum efficiency. With
a wireless connection to the handheld mobile computer,
the user can even wear a coat in harsh weather
environments and still print a ticket.
Enhanced Firmware
Faster firmware enables the PB20 to print
graphics and in particular, offer signature capture
capability, not previously available in other Intermec
portable printers. This makes the PB20 ideal for
producing accurate receipts, proofs of delivery and
invoices.
The PB20 delivers exceptional print quality
(more than 200 dpi resolution) and versatility, despite
its small and lightweight size. This palm-sized thermal
printer offers graphics capability, downloadable fonts,
serial RS-232, and 4MB flash memory for added
performance.
Long-Lasting Design and Power Supply
Made from resilient high-density
polyethylene, the PB20 can withstand even the most
challenging delivery applications. A reliable print
mechanism and extended print duration time allow the PB20
to handle the printing requirements of a full 8-hour
shift, even under tough conditions.
Lithium-ion batteries offer maximum power
capacity for the PB20. Automatic power saving sleep mode
and quick 3-hour recharging time, along with an optional
vehicle charger, create the optimum application solution
for a long service day.
