DataPort is a file handling software product designed to simplify and automate remote data collection applications through the utilization of
scripts. DataPort is powerful enough for experienced IT professionals, and simple enough for the inexperienced user.
 
Versatility… 
DataPort excels as a communications server for remote order entry and remote sales applications. DataPort supports Dial-up modem, FTP, Cellular, Wireless LAN, IrDA and direct cable connections. Data and files can be received, reformatted, imported and transported, automatically, from any number of remote users.
 
Powerful… 
DataPort contains more than 40 native commands. DataPort can conduct bi-directional, interactive communications sessions with remote users, to facilitate automated file uploads and program downloads. It supports conditional logic, file manipulation and management functions, and the ability to interact with external programs. If one of the native commands cannot meet your requirements, DataPort supports VBScript, meaning that anything that can be done in VBScript can be done in DataPort.
 
Easy to Use… 
DataPort is a scripting product, that includes a Function Builder option, that will step you thought the creation of even the most complex commands.
