These scanners are unprecedented in flexibility and performance. With 200 to 800 scans per second (user selectable) and real-time decoding, the CLV 250/280 scanners excel in high speed applications where high throughput is a must. The rugged die cast aluminum housing, precision optics, and powerful electronics create a highly reliable system for industrial applications.

The CLV 250/280 is simple to operate thanks to its Windows™-based software interface, included with the bar code scanner. This user friendly, unique, standalone software program guides the user through complete scanner configuration.

All parameters can be selected through the software, including minimum reading distance, bar code resolution, scan frequency, bar code label specifications, and data format. This optimizes the performance of the scanners for specific applications.

The CLV 250/280 bar code scanners can also be programmed using the built-in menu and terminal emulation software (e.g. Kermit, Crosstalk, or ProComm) or using the host command language.
