It is the first portable terminal with the built-in CCD scanner to use dry cell power (2 AA batteries); therefore, daily recharging is no longer necessary. Moreover, extended operational time is realized using a dramatic reduction in power consumption. There is also a convenient battery status display (8-stage display).
Direct Interface Connect to Unit Itself
If the direct interface connect to the unit itself is used, the communications unit is not needed. Data can be downloaded directly to a portable printer, etc.
