The BCR5242 CCD Imager is a compact, reliable device designed to offer accurate label reading. Equipped with a variety of features, the BCR5242 offers end-users an intuitive imaging solution. A large depth of field allows for improved flexibility in label/scanner positioning. It is also capable of reading damaged or poorly printed labels as well as ones with poor contrast. The BCR5242 can be operated in an autotrigger mode or manually with an external trigger, providing users with further flexibility. It is equipped with the ability to read most standard symbologies and autodiscrimiantes between Code 93, Code 38, Code128 CODABAR, 12 of 5, 2 of 5, and UPC/EAN. A low power consumption rate is achieved by operating at 5VDC with a 130mA current and allows the device to be used for longer periods of time.

. A video/CCD imaging system has no moving parts that will break, wear out, or shift. Its compact design allows it to be installed even in space-constrained environment and tight quarters. The CCD imager is offered in either a side or end viewing models. The side viewing model is ideal for space-limited operations.
