OCR Canada Ltd. Expands by adding Peter Ferraro, Andrew (Andy) Scrimshaw, and Ashif Lalji

Ashif Lalji

Ashif Lalji joined OCR Canada as our Western Account Executive, managing and servicing OCR clients from his base in Vancouver, British Columbia. With over 16-years of solution-based sales, account management, and business development Ashif will make a positive contribution to the OCR team. His past history includes work as a Corporate Account Manager for such companies as Faronics Inc., Tech data Canada Inc., V-Com Computers Inc., and Ryzex of Canada. He has experience in selling AIDC solutions, wireless infrastructure, and professional services. From his previous positions he has gained valuable knowledge and experience working in various markets such as Retail, Warehousing, Cold Storage, Government, Education, Corporate, Healthcare, among others. His attention to detail will ensure a complete solution is presented.

Peter Ferraro

Peter Ferraro joined OCR Canada as a Senior Account Executive and is based at our head office in Markham, Ontario. Peter comes to OCR Canada with over 16-years of solution-based sales, account management, and business development exclusively in the AIDC, wireless and barcode industry. His past history includes work as a Lead Service Engineer for Symbol Technologies (now known as Motorola Solutions), Account Manager for BSI (Barcode Systems Inc.), and Senior Account Executive for qdata. He has gained tremendous experience in selling solutions in AIDC hardware, service support for hardware which includes onsite and spares management, remote device management, and professional services. From his previous positions Mr. Ferraro has gained valuable knowledge and experience working in various markets such as Government, Manufacturing, Distribution, Warehousing and Retail. Peter strives to provide the best technical and service solutions to meet the unique needs of OCR's customers.

Andrew (Andy) Scrimshaw

Andrew Scrimshaw has accepted a position with OCR Canada as a Quebec Senior Account Executive. With over 11-years of solution-based sales, account management, and business development specifically in the AIDC, wireless and barcode industry. Andrew, born and raised near Montréal, Québec, will help our francophone clients in Canada and increase our exposure to the Quebec marketplace. His past history includes work as a Senior Service Account Representative for Ryzek and qdata. Mr. Scrimshaw strategizes with his client base to inform and keep them up to date on new technologies that will benefit their business. Andy collaborates with manufactures and engages them with his client base to ensure his clients are visibility shown the solution and how it works fulfilling their expectations and his commitment to them. Through his career he has gained valuable knowledge and experience working in markets such as Transportation, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and 3PL as a highly respected solution provider.
