Location:Calgary, Alberta / Moncton, New Brunswick / Montreal, Quebec (3 positions)

Description:Selling automatic identification products, services and software to corporate customers. Products include wireless networks, data collection terminals, bar code scanners, label printers, Radio Frequency (RF) devices, and application software.
• Expand OCR’s business base by acquiring new customers.
• Organize initial contacts, cold calls, and mailings.
• Respond to Requests for Quotations.
• Negotiate with new customers.
• Manage new programs until they are in full operation.
• Organize demo hardware for a new customer if necessary.
• Follow up with established customers.

Education:Post–secondary education, university degree or equivalent desired. A solid electronics or mechanical background is an asset but not required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Experience:• Fluent English, oral and written.
• Knowledge of the Information Technology industry, in particular bar coding, data collection, data bases, industrial radio frequency systems, networks.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Access to a car essential, as experience is gained, more extensive travel will occur.

Salary:Base salary + commissions
• Depends on qualifications.
